1. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Coming to theaters on April 22, 2022, the Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is a movie worth watching. What makes this movie unique is that it stars actor Nicholas Cage as Nick Cage. It is an exciting action-comedy starring Nicholas Cage and Pedro Pascal.
2. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
In this movie, Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) attempts to stop the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) from seizing control of the wizarding world. Knowing that he is unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards and witches. Coming out in theaters on April 15.
3. Everything Everywhere All at Once
This A25 film received rave reviews from its limited release. It will be widely released on April 8th. The movie follows a woman who owns a laundromat and is visited by her husband from an alternate universe. She is then told by her alternate universe version of her husband that she must tap into her alternate versions of herself to save mankind. It is a unique plot that will encourage other studios to take chances on some wacky plots.
4. The Northman
Despite all of these exciting movies, the movie that topped the polls in being the most anticipated movie for this month was The Northman. It stars Alexander Skarsgård. Within a month we will see a superhero movie and a new installment in the Wizarding World series that topped all three of our social polls, the latest from art gallery director Robert Eggers. Granted, The Northerners may be Iger's most accessible film to date, starring Alexander Skarsgård as an exiled Viking prince who returns to his war-torn homeland and is terrified of killing his father. And take revenge on the usurper who took over his kingdom. A stellar supporting cast includes Ethan Hawke, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Willem Dafoe, and Björk, Eggers is known for his grotesque, atmospheric style that's both eager and usual. The blockbuster offers an enticing experience.
