As you might already know, it has been confirmed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are seeing each other. Taylor Swift was seen at the last two Chiefs games, and since then everything has skyrocketed.
Swift's appearance at last week's Chiefs game set off a media frenzy and drove sales of Kelce's jersey to climb 400%. His podcast even hit #1 on the Apple charts. The NFL panned to Taylor nine times during last week's game, becoming a magnet for Swifties, the nickname for the megastar's fans. That game became the week's most-watched show, racking up over 24 million viewers. The league even ran a commercial on Fox, embracing the rumors swirling around Swift and Kelce. Swift is no stranger to football fields. She's drawn sell-out crowds to 20 NFL stadiums on her "Eras Tour" this year, and she recently announced plans to play in three more pro football venues in 2024.
Not only has Taylor Swift emphasized the name, “Travis Kelce”, her appearance at one of the Chiefs games has done many great things for them. The audience that watch the game has jumped 63% in female viewers 18-49 and there has been a three times increase in Chiefs searches on the web, as well as a three times increase in Chief sales on Stubhub. The Chiefs have sold more tickets in a single day than they have since the start of the season.
Travis Kelce has also added 400,000 followers on Instagram, which is over double how many he added during the Super Bowl, the biggest annual live event. Taylor Swift might just be one of the most influential people of our time.
