Swinging into December is Marvel’s Spider-man: No Way Home. This time around our friendly neighborhood Spider-man attempts to undo Mysterio’s unveiling of his identity and seeks Doctor Strange’s help. Unfortunately, things don’t go well and we see the multiverse begin to unravel. Although the spotlight is shining on the adventures of Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and Spider-man, played by Tom Holland, fans are more excited by both the leading antagonists and surprise character reveals. Revealed in the first No Way Home teaser, fans were greeted by Doctor Octopus played by Alfred Molina. This name is familiar to older fans of Marvel films because Molina played doctor turned villian in a previous Spiderman film with the first Spiderman, Tobey Maguire. Along with Alfred Molina reprising his role, another villain confirmed by their last roles is Electro, played by Jamie Foxx, who first starred alongside Andrew Garfield’s Spider-man. This caused many theories to sprout that Spiderman would struggle against these villains and require the help of both Tobey Maguire’s Spider-man and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-man leading to a film filled with nostalgia and giving fans their dream of seeing their favorite superhero hit the big screen once more. While it’s unclear whether this is true, Spider-man: No Way Home has been hyped up to be one of the biggest Marvel movies in the ranks of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Overall, this movie seems to be worth the watch with incredible visual effects, fantastic action sequences, and what many people believe will be the rebirth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
