On Friday, February 9th, ASB hosted a movie night for students. The film featured was High School Musical, in the Lecture Hall next to Sage Hall on AVC Lancaster Campus, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Entry was two dollars per person or three dollars for two people.
Many Snacks were being sold for those who attended. Clubs’ snack options were as follows:
Water: $1
Valentine Grams: $2
Soda: $2
Hot Chocolate: $2
In-N-Out Meal: $15
Game Club’s very own, Chen Jun Lin, who helped sell In-N-Out meals for his club had to say “I think this event is pretty cool. I never watched High School Musical before so it's really interesting to see what it's about. I think this event is good as is. I just wish that there were more people coming and more clubs selling. I don’t think anything should be changed. I think that this was a good event overall.”
Plot of the film: At a holiday karaoke party, Troy Bolton, the standout athlete at a small-town high school, falls in love with Gabriella Montez. Troy and Gabriella go to the school musical auditions after returning to campus. In the meantime, Sharpay Evans, who is envious, plots to ruin their chances. The two will have to juggle making it to the auditions with their current commitments to the academic decathlon and the basketball team.
