Festive February Snacks

I know you’ve all seen the Valentine’s themed candies, clothes, bears, and more storming in the stores, so what better way to get into the time of love than with some sweet foods in front of you! We’ll be getting into some snacks divided into three categories: Fancy & Simple Fusion, Quick ‘n Easy. Now, and an option where you’re getting your potassium & Vitamins. let’s get into it!!


 

♡Fancy & Simple Fusion 3-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse♡:


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. bittersweet chocolate (70% cacao or higher), chopped, plus chocolate shavings

  • 30 regular-size marshmallows

  • 2 c. heavy cream


In order to indulge in this light treat:

  • Put chocolate, marshmallows, & ½ Cup heavy cream in a bowl and place it in a microwave on high for 2 minutes


  • Stir until mixture is smooth , Divide mixture up into bowls, & place in fridge to cool for 45 minutes


  • To serve, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with shaved chocolate, if desired


 

♡Quick ‘n Easy Red Velvet Mug Cake♡:


Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp. all-purpose flour - 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar - 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 tsp. red food coloring

  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder - 3 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

  • 1/8 tsp. kosher salt - 1 tbsp. cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 1/3 c. whole milk


How to whip this simple yet crazy delicious cake:

  • In a 12-ounce mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt

  • Stir in Wet Ingredients (milk, butter, vanilla, and food coloring)

  • In a small bowl, mix together confectioners’ sugar and cream cheese until smooth

  • drop into mug and push down until covered by batter

  • Microwave on High until just cooked through, about 90 seconds.


 

♡Getting your Potassium & Vitamins- Banana Pops♡:


Ingredients:

  • Banana(s)

  • Greek Yogurt, Vanilla, Whatever Yogurt is on hand

  • Sprinkles


To make this snack in 0.1 Seconds:

  • Cut banana into three pieces & poke a Wooden skewer at the bottom of each one

  • Dip the bananas into the yogurt of your choice

  • Top the snack off with sprinkles & Pop it into the freezer
